This glassblowing shop in Central Texas was a nice find. It's located out in the countryside west of San Marcos (our car's sat nav actually placed it about a quarter mile further east on RR12 than it really was). The modern building has a spacious...More

Unique and beautiful glass work. We went for an outdoor light and while pricey they use Hubbardton Forge for the metal light which has lovely finishes and we happened to have a few of their pieces so we could select from known finishes.

Incredible works of art in glass. And they offer glass blowing demonstrations. Just a short drive from San Marcos. Educational for children AND adults. You won't be able to resist buying a piece.

Wouldn't go too far out of the way, but if you happen to be in the area, this is an awesome little place to stop! Watching the glass blowing demonstration was fascinating for both the kids and adults alike. Nice showroom featuring pieces for sale.

Stop over from Fredericksburg back to Houston was worth the 30-45 minute visit. Watched a small ball of hot material turn into a beautiful open lamp shade. Timing of visit was spot on, as they had just begun a new session ... could watch from...More
