Incredible works of art in glass. And they offer glass blowing demonstrations. Just a short drive from San Marcos. Educational for children AND adults. You won't be able to resist buying a piece.

Wouldn't go too far out of the way, but if you happen to be in the area, this is an awesome little place to stop! Watching the glass blowing demonstration was fascinating for both the kids and adults alike. Nice showroom featuring pieces for sale.

Far too expensive to buy anything (items are in the $100++++ range) but it was a nice stop just outside San Marcos. They have demonstrations every 15 minutes, so it was a nice stop with a friend to watch them and look around. More of...More

The Wimberley Glass Works turns out visually stunning glass items. They have a small shop here where you can see and buy glassware. They seem to do most of their business in commissioned works. The best part of this attraction, though, is the chance to...More
