If you like Tex-Mex music this is a must. Not just a Freddy Fender museum other artist are also here. Museum has plans for expansion so it can only get better.

This is a community museum featuring the rich music traditions of the RGV. Certainly there is a section dedicated to Freddy Fender, but also many others who contributed to the TexMex music we enjoy today. There is lots of good displays, really good information about Freddie Fender. Brought back good memories of Freddie.

I am a huge admirer and fan of Freddy Fender , and although the museum is small, it is packed with his life history . This tiny quaint museum is a must for all Freddy Fender fans, the museum is tiny however the very friendly staff can give you some great insight into the life of Freddy and the history of regions distinctive style of music.

It is a waste of time. If your a FF fan then ok. . It's ok. It's not a great deal but it beats being in San Benito with nothing to do. Not like you're going to gain anything but either being there or not. It had nothing to offer other than what you may gain googling. Freddy Fender was... More

I thought it was neat he was before my time but I think its nice to keep his spirit alive I likedthis place and would recommend it to others that like good old music.

My husband and our 3 kids along w/my silver and 2 nephews popped by on a Monday afternoon and we didn't realize they were only open Thurs-Sat' but given the great down home people that work there they still let us tour!
