This is a great community attraction. It is a beautifully designed building with great art. Check out the mesquite floors. They also do a great job of supporting the community offering classes and they even have a quaint building that was a gas station to...More

Architecturally, this place is pretty cool. I really love the outside area. Once inside the place is much smaller than I expected. There was only a couple of rooms with art to check out. One room was all small statues and trinkets and such. Another...More

When visiting San Angelo do not miss a trip to this museum!! The price of admission can't be beat, especially when considering all of the exhibits you get to see. I especially loved the exhibit on West Texas artists!! Besides the outstanding art exhibits inside...More

Was curious about the unusual architecture...and mentioned it to a shop owner who told me it was based on a saddle! Well with that in mind it did sort of look like a saddle! Lol. It is a small museum and apparently has a lot...More

Maybe it is because I am here for the ceramics symposium, maybe it is the great art and food at the openings...but I think it is because the shows are so well curated, and the museum itself strives to be assessable and accommodating to everyone,...More

This is a very nice museum in a beautiful building - when I think of fine arts, I think of paintings. This museum helped me realize that fine arts encompasses much more than that. There had been a recent judged event, so enjoyed reading the...More

This museum always has interesting temporary exhibits and combined with the permanent exhibits, e.g., ceramics and pottery, they are all very eclectic and worth seeing. The building itself is quite unique and the museum's website has a great description of its architecture.

The museum offers a great place for business and pleasure events. I love the space and views. For San Angelo, it's can feel upscale or laid back. A cute find in a place where there is not much else.
