A great visitors center that is beautiful, welcoming, and a great source of information about things to do in the San Angelo area. Convenient parking. Close to major roads in San Angelo. I found out many things to do in this area.

Beautifully located. Go out visitor area to the river. Walkway to river is rocky and there is the sheep decorated like all the others in town.

Stopped here to get a few maps and ideas for trip. Staff was very friendly. Answered my questions and gave me ideas seeing town. Walked out back to a beautiful walkway on a river. Well worth the stop.

This center is situated between the roads going thru San Angelo. The river crosses in front of it with the roads going over. Think one road is Highway 87 or Bryant Street. There's restrooms there but they lock them up when they close the office. The building is nicely landscaped with walkways & gardens. There's also sculptures nearby near the... More

We walked the trails around the center and enjoyed looking at all the art work which was in great detail of old Volkswagen cars and old trucks that had places to sit.

I went there to get information on the Historical Murals that can be found around the downtown area. They have a wealth of information about activities and the history of San Angelo, as well as the surrounding areas. Beautiful building atop the riverbank and beautiful landscaping with rocks and waterfalls between the building and the riverbank. Enjoy the riverwalk while... More

Having read the great reviews for the visitors center, it was a given to go there to learn what attractions we might go see. The two gentlemen inside were quite friendly and helpful. The center is lovely. It's along the river walk. There's a landscaped waterfall, sculptures, and lovely views.
