We were in Rusk for the Texas State Railroad but figured we'd look for another cheap attraction. The footbridge is pretty neat, really long and tucked under some beautiful trees. We spent about 20 minutes there and took some photos. Cute place to visit!

This is a very long walking footbridge. It's got history, plus is a very nice setting for taking pictures. Highly recommend for visitors to see this neat part of history of our little town.

Well it's a foot bridge. If you enjoy nature or if you have some little ones who need to have some time out of the car stop by. We enjoyed a stroll across and saw quite a few birds.

It's great fun to run back and forth. The kids and kids at heart will love it. Free. Easy. A fun activity.

Directions provided by TripAdvisor were slightly off. I'm glad we made the stop. It's very innocuous, nothing flashy, good for picnic.

One block from the hall square, there is this historical house of the Perkins family, a beautifully restored Victorian house. The little creek runs behind it and is bordered by a greenway. The 1/4 mile long footbridge has been maintained and is a nice walking...More
