This was a great way to spend a rainy afternoon in Rockport. The museum had a couple of informative films and a library full of books. The rich history of this area was well organized and well displayed. The volunteers do a great job.

We stopped by Rockport and went into this museum just to look around. A good place for average person to learn a few things about Texas maritime history. Do go to the top floor for picture opportunities.

I thought the museum was nicely designed and the displays well done. The gift shop has several good books for kids and adults and the view from the top is lovely. I wish it was bigger! Recommended.
