Keeping your expectations in check, this is a nice side trip for 30 minutes or so at Rockport peninsula and it's free. (They appreciate a small donation). You'll see about a dozen tanks with fish that are in the nearby gulf and bay waters. A...More

A fascinating visit with knowledgeable guides.Families will so enjoy seeing and touching many exhibits. Don't miss the moray eel.

It is a nice little place with native fish and activities for the kids. The grandgirls enjoyed the coloring over the raised pictures and seeing Marly the eel.

We stopped on our way home and it is a nice little free aquarium to walk thru.. takes about 20 min.. loved the big eel! Interesting fish and ones I hadn't seen before.. I had never seen such a big hermit crab!

this tiny aquarium didn't call to us from the outside, but there was enough life inside to grab our interest, including sea horses and an eel.
