This small museum is fun to visit once. There are lots of interesting photos from the past and stories from local people. Some of the stories are video or audio taped.

This museum commemorates the history of the Port Isabel area. America, Mexican, and Texas history were also highlighted. We spent about 1 1/2 hours there. The interactive exhibits were not working.

If you enjoy history, you'll enjoy this gem of a museum. I was surprised by the amount of history that this area offered period. Things I never even knew. And I was taught TX History in school. The staff is very friendly.

We really enjoyed strolling around the museum and reading the exhibits. We were there on a weekday and it was not crowded at all. We could take our time and learn quite a bit about the local history.

The combo deal makes it worth it. Both museums were small but had interesting artifacts and were cheap. The lighthouse has a great view and is worth the climb, but might be too intense for little kids.

This was not very professional. The Light House is being restored so you could not buy bundled tickets. The museum is not organized and some of their exhibits looked like they were done by school kids. Interesting topic. But when you have to pay you...More
