Looks good but they are not open Sunday or Monday, so we could not see it. I like closed on Sunday but for a musem in Port Isabel it may not be the wisest choice.

Had some trouble finding the place, but once there I enjoyed the visit. It has a nice overview of the Texas history. With a lot of interesting items not only about Texas but also about the history of the building.

A little hard to find from the parking lot but worth the effort. There a 3 museums in the small area. Covers pre-historic to present day with good emphasis on Mexican-American War.

My family and I planned the Light House tour along with the other 2 museums! So much history on the port and the children loved learning about it all!
