We've been to Bernie's 3 times this month to listen to the live music, most recently last night. There have been 2 bartenders until about an hour after the band starts. Then there is only one. Each night I've waited at the bar for service at least 15 minutes. Last night after 15 minutes waiting, we just left. Too bad... More

The place is rustic typical of a port bar. However they allow smoking and it really sticks like smoke in there. Your clothes reek of smoke after you get home. They have buck beerso in the afternoon but only 2lite beer choices. Wednesday nights they have a great pick up band that plays 50's/60'so! Baby Boomers dancing! Great fun! And...no... More

We did not feel welcome and didn't stay. Port A is so welcoming but Bernies is the opposite. So smoky we were put off also.

Second time here, great specials and appetizers were awesome. The bartender is another story. Very very rude and got a little sick when she took our used beer glass and rolled it in the salt for a dressed beer. How many dirty glasses have been in that salt? One of us got sick, don't know for sure it it was... More

Smoky bar, but cheap happy hour. You can sit on the deck to get away from the smoke. Would be fun to go a little later at night to go dancing with friends!

We ventured to Bernies to see what it was like. We had heard great things about it and we were not disappointed. There was happy hour going on and domestic beers and well drinks were $2.00. We sat at the bar with a few locals and got a little bit of education about the place. One guy was there who... More

Drinks/ bartenders not great.. Had to send back the mojito.. Bartender was shaking the drink and it was going everywhere, which made us a little wary. Ended up that the food was great, lobster ragoons and rare sesame encrusted tuna Sooo good !! Again waitress was so so.. There seemed to be a lot of staff when we walked in... More

Took my friends son (home for the Navy) and my friends daughters's boyfriend. They said they had a great time. Didn't get there till about 10:00 so it was going full speed when we got there. Yes - very loud - a lot of dance music- nothing in the way of other types of music. One downfall - if your... More
