I love this beach! You can drive for miles all along the beach and stop and camp where ever you want for a small for a permit. You are also allowed to have a fire on the beach and consume alcohol. It's the most amazing experience ever waking up on the beach in your motorhome.

Great beach for birdwatching, walking, or jogging. Check the charts and go at low tide for maximum enjoyment. Beautiful grey egrets, brown pelicans, cute sandpipers -- you can easily get close to all of them.

The beach is really nice and easy to drive to. The sand on beach is really nice & great for walking or laying on to enjoy weather - The only disappointment is the parking fee to use & overall the beach is not that big from water to berm

nice beach, can back up to the beach and fish out of your car/truck, not too crowded, need to secure a pass before you park, lots of local golf cart rentals to ride along the long, sandy beaches

As regular visitors, we come back several times a year. The beaches are clean. The water is warm and there is truly a relaxing vibe.

If you need unchecked time on the beach, this is where it's at. Forget Florida! Port Aransas is a happy place to be/do whatever next to the ocean!

We live a couple of hours from here so we tend to come 1-2 times during the summer. We usually rent a buggy during our trip and drive up and down the beach. A lot of fun!

We were a group of 6. When ordering, the waitress gave options for salad, garlic or regular bread, cheese on food - never mentioned that there was extra charges for these items. $8 for 6 small pieces of garlic bread. Never saw the waitress again until she brought the $186 bill. The restaurant does not split checks for groups. While... More
