this is a nice way to entertain your little ones. it's free and there is a large playground near the museum. the dart rail is also right there so you could take them on a real train after seeing the models in the interurban railway...More

Little museum tells the story of Plano. Surrounding area has restaurant and night life. Only need to plan for an hour visiting time.

There wasn't a lot to the museum, but the park and stuff beside the museum made it worth while. Again nice because you can get outside with the fam for a bit

We only spent about an hour. The kids (ages 9,6,22 and ME) liked the model train display and the exhibits and information inside. We really liked boarding the car outside and talking to the conductor (who was accurately dressed)about the operations of the train cars....More
