Had a great visit in New Braunfels ... an historic German town in Texas. Much to do and see with Gruene just a stone's throw away!

Nice quiet country town. Gruene is interesting, a time warp. DId not find as much German influence as in Fredericksburg. We saw deer in several peoples yards right in town.

Quaint little town north east of San Antonio. Shops and restaurants. Country music at Greane hall. Lots of water sports, rafting on the river.
