Beautiful spring-fed little river. Year-round the water is the same temperature. It is very cool but enjoyable once you get in. Great for tubing.

I have not dipped my bod in this beauty since I prefer bath water temp. Don't let this stop you. Go for it...might tighten up any loose body parts/skin.

The Comal River is unique. With Crystal clear water most of the time a rock shelf and spring fed its great for shallow drift diving, night dives and more. You can lap swim against the current, fish or just splash and play. It's a must...More

We typically choose the Comal river bc it is more family friendly but not this time. We were stuck time and again between large groups of very drunk, smoking, (cigars, cigarettes and pot), students, all blaring competing music as loud as their devices would handle....More

We love tubing on the Comal River we always enter thru Landa Falls. The float itself takes about 2:30 - 3 hours depending on the crowd. I really like the Comal over the Guadalupe river, it's just a better float and no shallow areas.
