Aprons exhibit was professional and beautifully done. It was like walking into a fair where you learn something. It was exciting, interesting, and inclusive. I came for the community collections event where they welcomed individuals to bring their family aprons and recipes for sharing and...More

This is a beautiful building situated in the heart of Stephen F Austin University campus. It is not original nor is it in the original location. It was still a nice stop to see the house from outside but visiting inside was not comfortable. I...More

This site is actually on the SFA university campus, and doesn't look like a fort, but served as one. Lots of nice relics of the time period about the Texas Revolution, showing how the people lived, fought, and acted at the time. It is run...More

It's like the Alamo in that it's smaller than you think and none of it is original. The fort isn't even in it's original location. Really not much to see.

Small, quiet museum on campus. Shows how the fort looked in the early days before it was moved to campus. Explains all the history surrounding the fort and the town of Nacogdoches.

You might want to contact the museum directly for that question. There is also a historical museum building in old downtown Nacogdoches that you might want to check for that book. I don't remember the name of the museum in... More
