This museum has more than just the giant oil tank. There is the history of the WWll bomber base and railroad cars with display of area history. Coca cola display of bottles and coke machines.

We saw the "Daytripper" episode and followed up by going out -- and picked a day the museum was closed (holiday weekend). Nevertheless, it's got enough outdoor detail to give a sense of the size, purpose and history of the site.

Stopped here when passing through Monohans. The lady that oversees the museum is super nice, and knows the information well. If you're on a long road trip, it's a great place to get out and stretch your legs and learn a few interesting things. Doesn't...More
