Lots of people do not know about this place. It's tucked in around old Midland, with trees and beautiful landscaping, it is a must stop. Let your children explore in the little town they have. Always have beautiful art on display.

Its a really cool old mansion turned into a museum but not a whole lot to see. I personally like the Sante Fe Indian art. You can tour it 30 minutes or less regularly but the best time is during the lawn concerts or the...More

This is a great museum for adults and children. The adult exhibits change periodically and The Children's Museum always has something fun going on. It's located in a beautiful old mansion...which has a very interesting history! In addition to the museum itself, they host lawn...More

The house is simply an art gallery. There were a couple of other buildings but did not look interesting. We were not provided a map so not sure if missed anything. It was Saturday so the Farmers Market helped with the atmosphere.

The Sunday evening Summer Lawn Concerts are so fun. It has usually cooled off enough and most seating is in the shade. Pack up a picnic, a nice bottle of wine, your lawn chairs and come enjoy the fun. The FARMERS MARKET is on the...More

When here on a trip to visit my niece and her family, it's not real big and small children will enjoy; her family liked it, as her four children were all under 10 years of age.

We visited the museum to see the dinosaurs exhibition. It was only $5 admission charge so it was fitting for what you got to see. The best part of the museum are the wonderful sculptures on display on the grounds. They photographed beautiful!

The Museum is so-so in my oppion. The real fun of this place is during the outside festivals and the Summer Lawn Concerts. The Lawn Concerts are free admission and you can bring your own chairs or blankets to hear the concerts. Bring your picnic...More

We arrived early on a Saturday morning for the farmers market at the museum. We loved the farmers market. It's small but lots of good stuff. We decided to see the museum while we were there. GREAT idea. It's small, some areas are currently being...More

I'm not seeing any special events outside or normal operating hours. It's the week after Spring Break in Midland, there is very little going between the end of Spring Break and April 1.
