We visited la casa earlier in the day, and this beautiful building with an amazing colourful ceiling in the atrium was treat enough, however, we happened to stumble on the day that a traditional group would be performing that night. With a talented guitarist and a number of skilled vocalists and dancers, the effect was sublime. It didn't matter that... More

Casa de la Culture is situated near the station ahead of you on the left side of the road as you exit the station. It holds exhibitions and performances from time to time; currently a performance of Flamenco is on running for a week.

Right on the beachfront, it is an attractive building inside and usually features art displays and musical recitals - at reasonable entry fee for concerts.

Wonderful selection of paintings, pen & ink sketches as well as some wonderful pieces of antique furniture. The building itself is so pretty designed like a moorish castle with 4 water pools outside which squirt up fountains of water with light at night. So pretty. Well worth a visit plus it did not cost us anything. :-))

Is very popular with the locals. If you are on holiday you can call in and collect any brochures for the area and ask any questions there are english speaking people there to help you with any problems on a Thursday morning. Also a beautiful building.

We visited the Casa cultura for an art exhibition and saw a poster for an English panto, so along we went. It was an amateur production, but really good. We were very surprised to be seated in a proper theatre within the casa cultura, air conditioned and comfortable. Lovely building inside with lots of features. It holds lots of exhibitions... More

We always visit the Casa de la Cultura when there is an exhibition on. They vary between the type of art that we like, and art that challenges our perception. All of them are of interest and are well displayed and free.

The photos shown are not of the Casa de la Culture in Arroyo de la Miel as the venue is a white building of a different shape. Get a programme for April/May and you will be pleasantly surprised by the local talent. I saw a junior production of The Pied Piper of Hamelin and the performance brought the house down,... More

Exhibitions, theatre, cinema, tourist information all housed within this beautiful building. Come in and enjoy the beautiful galleried entrance hall with amazing coloured glass windows which reflect the sun.

I had been to the casa cultura to make a complaint about a car hire firm, and i had been to a showing of local artists. BUT on 18th feb we went to an amateur production of sleeping beauty, the panto. We were shown into a hall to the right of the door and then into the theatre. What a... More
