A lovely, quiet place for reflection in the Alt Stadt. Slightly off the tourist track, but an easy walk to the other beautiful churches in town.

As other reviewers observed, the church is nothing special to look at. Alas, we did not get to hear the organ, but its fame is widely acknowledged.

This 14th century church isn't particularly remarkable to look at, but it played a vital role in recent Gorlitz history. In 1989, before the Berlin Wall fell, this church became Gorlitz's spiritual and political meeting place for those anticipating the fall of East Germany's Communist...More
