A PROPER mountain village (set in an area of fake mountain villages)

It's not high altitude, but actually very close ski-wise to Mottarets, and a short drive (or a couple of lifts) to Les Menuires, so you have the best modern ski area in the world there for you and the joys of a real village (there's hundreds of fake alpine villages) in the evenings. Probably not the best place for teenagers... More

Wifi here and all the villages in Les 3 Vallees are to be paid for. Ridicoulous in this day and age. Also the restaurants don’t provide free wifi. Charging for electric cars is non-existing in these villages either. It is time for all the villages in Les 3 Vallees to keep up with time, and start investing in these facilities.

Beautiful old mountain village with churches, Mairie, museum and express ski lift linking to the Trois Vallees ski area. Very up and down, so unless you enjoy carrying skis, you should stay near the lifts in the centre or top of the town. The museum is open late so worth visiting after your days skiing. There are pretty walks thereabouts... More

Stayed here last year, came back this year. Lovely village a real alpine feel, skiing very good, we were lucky it snowed jusy before we arrived and we then had sun and blue skies. Certainly feels like a village with sking not just a resort, which is what we like, small enough to be friendly.

Went with our daughter and son-in-law and infant of 2 and half. We didn't ski but had a wonderful time took lifts over the 3 Valleys amazing experience. Lots to do for children soft play at the sports centre and dogs sleigh rides in the woods. Our daughter and son-in-law loved the slopes. Beautiful place quiet would highly recommend.

Number and length of slopes are phenomenal but they are loosely maintained. Some of the slopes were done ever 3 days or so and even then they weren't done up the standards. The area has beautiful views all over the place. The views are probably the best in the world and this place has the potential to to be #1... More

We love this village, placed right in the middle of the 3Vallees. A small village without a crazy bar scene, this is the place to go for a very enjoyable family vacation. And we time the Trois Vallées offers the best and mist carried skiing in France. We love this place and will definitely come back!

A quiet corner of the 3 valleys that felt like a hidden gem! Ive been skiing in the 3 valleys for years but had not stayed here before. Now i doubt i will stay any where else! Easy access to all ski areas and the restaurants are fantastic!
