La Plagne has an abundance of different runs so there is something for every ability. The high altitude means you always seem to have plenty of runs open, although the glacier is often closed when the weather turns for the worse. Perhaps not the most...More

Have been coming to La Plagne for over 15 years. Excellent slopes for all levels, nice on piste restaurants and bars. Will be returning again next year.

Having booked for yet another 4th time at La Plagne Centre I cannot think of a better place which has everything. Beginners slopes, intermediate and advanced slopes, together with plenty of dining and drinking venues. I recommend the small burger place in the shopping complex,...More

Spread into about four different areas so check carefully where you are. We had quite a walk to the slopes, or stairs to the free bus. Snow was fantastic though. Only two bars in the bottom where we were, but lots up in the centre...More

La Plagne as a place is quite unique in that it is actually a number of smaller resorts, connected together by a combination of free buses and late night gondola lifts. We stayed in Plagne 1800, which is mostly made up of chalets (we stayed...More

A great ski resort linked to les Arcs. Not busy out of school holidays because it is so large. Runs to Montalbert and \borseliers are great fun

Some of the best powder we have ever skied. Charming resort, but split across a number of villages, rather than one central town. Therefore this coupled with the locals, preferring a meal and night in, rather than hitting the town, meant for little later apres...More

This is my third time going to a ski resort! This ski resort is the BEST SKI RESORT EVER! 8 of us were here for 6 days! Our ski guide was really friendly and we enjoyed the whole experience! WE WILL DEFINITELY BE BACK AGAIN!

Whilst not the most picturesque of resorts La Plagne offers great skiing for intermediates. Lots of Blue runs that are well linked together and easy to navigate. Get away from the main resort centres and slopes can be quiet. Linked to Les Arcs via the...More

I would recommend La Plagne to an intermediate family, as you are able to ski majority of the resort - which is quite different to most resorts - which are often more geared up to advanced skiers.

certainly in half term there are two sittings in the busier resorts...the first for smaller children. Probably not as busy at Christmas but maybe worth asking tour resort information?

I believe because it is a weekend try Bens' Bus. I had to get a private transfer which was rather expensive. I think there is a company called Cool bus but again quite expensive for one. Hope this helps.

Your best bet is to try one of the transfer companies. Cool bus is good and there is also alps2alps both of which serve Grenoble and La Plagne. As there are only 2 of you it will be expensive but if you are happy to share... More
