It’s a huge beach and the best part is further south from the car parks accessed via the Forrest. It’s on an estuary. Beware though as it’s very tidal. Fine white sand though. We will be back next summer

Stunning beach. Even when busy there is loads of space. Only advice is the carpark fills up quickly but if you are happy to pay €4 for a days parking there is a private carpark which always has available space.

A clean beach is a good beach. Plenty of clear sand without shale. Very hot, good facilities, bar, food, toilets, hire shops. We had a lovely day here. Good waves too.

Family visit to the beach. Easy to park, toilet available if you don't find a long wait, bars and cafes. Spent the visit hunting for jurassic dinosaur footprints, didn't find any but the children enjoyed looking.

What a lovely beach. Whatever your age you can have a great time here. There is ample free parking although you are good to check the tides and also get there before 11am. The winds will be calmer and better for either sunbathing or castle...More
