We were on a cruise that docked overnight in Bermuda. After walking the docks and seeing the shops, we visited the Museum. It was far more interesting than I thought and the views from the ramparts as well as the Commissioners House were amazing. They have a Dolphin Quest Adventure that you can sit and watch. While were there, they... More

The outside information doesn't do the museum justice. Great artifacts, stunning views, dolphins, the commissioners house is wonderful and creaking with historical information. A must do. Even teenage daughter loved it.

We were pleasantly surprised at this historic fort which is turned into the National Museum which offers a huge Collection of artefacts from shipwrecks and very informative details on the history of the island. You can walk along this hilltop fort and arrive at the Commissioner's House which also offers an open tour of the historic home with artefacts located... More

Well worth a visit, not much on the outside to hint at the wonders inside. Good overview of Bermuda history, fantastic buildings and amazing views. Plus live dolphins.

Having lived in Bermuda for a number of years in the '80's we saw the dockyard area as very neglected and run down. We could hardly believe the transformation that has taken place. Our grandkids really enjoyed the whole experience but particularly the dolphins and the play area. The views are spectacular and we were able to see some of... More

Excellent conversion of former Royal Navy base to a first rate museum. The exhibits are superbly curated with clear descriptions and interpretations. I particularly liked the displays on shipwrecks.

For the history buff, artist, nature lover and more - lots to explore and the views are spectacular. Exhibits are both educational and fun. The best surprise was rounding a corner and seeing the Dolphin Quest facility and dolphin training with a ringside seat.

The National Museum of Bermuda was a highlight of our recent trip to Bermuda. The price of admission ($15) allows access to explore the inside of the massive fort and see sweeping views of the island. The commissioner's house is well preserved with many interesting exhibits. You are also able to view the Dolphin Quest area for free and see... More

First of all, your ticket also gets you into Dolphin Quest- time your visit to show one of their short free shows. The museum in the fort does a great job explaining Bermuda's complicated history- does address slavery in an up front manner. Was surprised how good the exhibits actually were.
