What you’d expect in a historic downtown shopping area. Overpriced Boutiques, speciality food, restaurants, antiques- but with homemade candy, a wine bar, a clay art studio, used record store and a bit more. There is quite a variety so you could easily spend any afternoon...More

Historic Downtown McKinney has a lot going on, thanks to the well preserved buildings and activities. McKinney and its citizens have done a great job in getting this area to be a social hub (restaurants, shops, music). And historical. And fun.

Downtown McKinney is a great place to spend an afternoon. Parking was easy and free in the municiple lot. There are great little restaurants and wonderful shops to browse. We make it a point to visit here whenever we are visiting friends in Plano.

I'm not sure of the exact hours. We are usually there shopping between 10AM and 4pm. But, I do know, some of the shops are closed on Sunday and some are closed on Monday.
