Set in the Historic Rail Depot, it is full of exhibits of the RR. There is a caboose on display outside. This is still a stop for Amtrack.

My wife was getting her toes "painted" and I had about an hour to kill. I had on a previous trip to Marshall seen the Amtrak Depot, thought I'd go check it out. We had such a great time. Small, but love reading about the history of it. The last in the gift shop was so sweet and helpful. Truly worth going to. 🚂🚊🚉

The location did not come up on my GPS, but thankfully I had studied the area. The museum focuses on the early railroad influence in Marshall which at one time was significant. The museum is interesting and worth a visit

It was very interesting to see the history of the Texas & Pacific Railroad. It was great when it was a luxurious mode of travel.

The train station and museum are well worth the visit. They have some great historic pictures and lots of train artifacts.
