So much history in this picturesque Marshall, TX estate. The guide was very understandably passionate about this lovely and meticulously restored Greek revival home. Take the time to go off highway and see this Texas historical jewel. It won't disappoint.

Make sure they take you outside! They may not always, so ask if they don't. It's very shady out there and more history of the kids playing outside as well as the little school house.

Historical home of the Starr Family - Much of the furnishings are original to the house and its owners - Ongoing restoration of part of the home. The docent was very knowledgeable and the visit was fun!
