Very clean lake. Lot thing to do including fishing. we rented a pontoon from Aqua Vista Sports for 4 hrs and had a lot of fun. The owner was very helpful and gave us many tips where to go down the river.

Great for any outdoor activity. Great boating, fishing, swimming, skiing, wake boarding, tubing and whatever else to enjoy. The water is pristine and the cleanest in the Highland Lakes chain.

Lake was at capacity for water level. Went to Bob Wentz Park and paid 10$ per car. Set up under the yellow pavilion along the lake shoreline. Was able to walk into lake with no issue. I wear water shoes because with the water level at capacity there is debris and other things you can't see. Water was clean and... More

Had a great day here. Stopped at every inlet to see the water and when possible walked down to the lake. Some areas had really good water access. Lots of camping sites with picnic tables and campfire pits. Enjoyed jumping off the rocks into the lake.

We love being on the lake. Especially during this winter we have had such fantastic weather we got out as often as possible. Probably go out this weekend since the rain stopped.

It's not actually too far...unless you get stuck in traffic on RM 2222; but the drive to the lake is very scenic. Any of the overlooks above Lake Travis will astound you at its size & beauty. Whether it be at "high water" or "low water," the views are stunning. (Have been going here for many years on visits down... More

We are regular visitors to Lake Travis because it's a beautiful lake. The water is back up, yay! The sunsets are awesome, fishing is great, lots of yummy restaurants, and the Texas Hill Country is just lovely. Will we return to Lake Travis in the future? You bet. My husband is already trying to plan our next trip now, especially... More

We went out on lake Travis with family while staying with my aunt and uncle recently in the hill country. It was a beautiful trip and just riding around on the boat on the smooth lake was a ton of fun! Lots of beautiful houses to see and fun to just cruise around!

I have to say that this lake may be even prettier than Lake Austin. The locals told me that it was gone up 11 feet in the last 6 months and has covered trees that grew during its low time. It is breathtaking and really worth at least a few minutes of you time to see it.
