It's such a nice quiet park to visit. My son & I kayaked all the way into Junction, about 3 hrs. Great river for beginners. We loved everything about our visit, even the rain storm!

Lots of deer. Easy to get to the river. Just go to the low water dam. Plenty of parking. A 2 hour float will bring you to the “stop” sign. A 1/4 mike hike back to the RV site.

Stayed here on a 3 day weekend. The RV sites are clean, quiet and most important spaced far apart. The bathrooms and showers are well maintained.

We arrived midmorning and found the place fairly empty. The park worker said only three tubes were rented out but people would pour in on Friday. We had a relaxing time in the river. It took us about 1 1/2 hours to make the float....More
