We hiked the open trails, nice lake for fishing and swimming. The grocery/gift shop is close Tuesdays and Wednesdays so plan accordingly. You can rent kayaks or canoes (if the grocery shop is open), lots of picnic tables and camping spaces.

The Huntsville state Park is a great spot to visit for a day or you can stay longer like a weekend or up to even 14 days. They have camping spots for Recreational vehicles with water ,electric and they have spots for tent campers also....More

Never trust beasts, no matter where they are. Ask the park ranger's supervisor how many accidents they have per year.
