After the security check got to see a pretty cool museum, documents the history of Houston police through the years. Police officers on duty were really friendly and willing to explain anything. Definitely worth a look and has some good exhibits.

A small, but curious lil history of the life and times of the Houston Police Dept. There's sure to be at least one lil piece of interesting history that you may not have known, that was different about the H.P.D.!

While we were staying in Downtown Houston, we came upon this gem at the Houston Police headquarters. It is only open M-F, but the price was right (free). You do have to check-in at the front desk with an officer and receive a visitor badge....More
