Took the kids with us, and we had a great time. Our son loves trains but even our daughter had a good time.

Still recovering from damage from Hurricane Ike, it looks like it is struggling and needs help. Many of the railcars were not open. We felt that the entry fee was needed and hope that the place can get a facelift soon.

Th cars they have are so delapitated, that it is a shame they have these train cars sitting. They will actually show you rain cars that have been pulled apart and under repair work. Closets with tools and equipment are out in the open. If...More

The railroad museum houses a large collection of railroad cars of many types that you can walk through. One car includes a nice collection of railroad memorabilia. There is normally a volunteer available to lead tours through the cars and explain their history. Train buffs...More
