Large facility with weekend market full of cheap and used items. Lots of garage sell type items at individual booths. RV park with concrete pads and full hook ups. Expensive rates for a regular non-resort type of property. Increased rates have resulted in lots of empty spaces. Go figure ?

The flea market was ok. There are a lot of vendors selling the exact same stuff though it would be nice to see more of a variety. Wasnt thrilled with the puppy mills, and over stocked birds at the pet shops. But all in all it was a nice day to walk around.

Places we noticed started really going closer to noon. nice that even if it rains, everything and body is covered. there is a lot of furniture further at the back of the market. found prices much better... I was visiting the area and I love flea markets, but this was a disappointment. We got there about 10 on a Saturday morning, very few vendors were open. We did go on the weekend of a pow wow, so we did meander through the Indian crafts and vendor area. By the time we finished the pow wow area, more... More

Wear your walking shoes. Large, all hard surface. The early bird doesn't get the worm. Many booths don't open until near noon.

I got there on Saturday morning around 10am and most of the booths were closed or just setting up. It was not until around 1130am that alot of the other places started to open.

This RV park is our go to when staying in the Houston area, mainly because of it's location to family and friends. The shopping at the flea market can be fun and you can find just about anything. They also have really unique eats. But the 3 stars is based on the RV park. Over half of the long term... More
