We have visited innumerable art museums. The Houston MFA was well curated and displayed, just a lovely museum. We were impressed by the extent of the collection.

Museum's are expensive, unless you go with discount, or on free days, scan the museum's, check to see if they are on some Houston plan or discount system.

I don't know about you, but I don't like to have my intelligence insulted. Especially, at such a serious place like the Holocaust Museum. It is totally ruined by Political Correctness. On the other hand, other exhibits qualities may be totally selective. I would avoid...More

It's amazing! Houston, Texas has one teeny, tiny spot in its generally ultra urban landscape that makes me feel like I might be in Paris: The Houston Museum District. When I zing around the rotary by Houston's Museum of Fine Art,I have the option to...More

My family always told me to visit here. I finally had the free time and I really was able to enjoy myself. My kids learned so much. The only bad thing I can say is that we didn't have enough time to see it all....More

Houston's Museum District is a fantastic part of the city. Plenty to see and also a wonderful place to just walk around if you're not interested in a museum. Be sure to visit Hermann Park. The Museum of Natural Science is my favorite.

Yes, I believe there are evening events on Thursdays for single adults. Check the Museum Website and also Yelp! Enjoy!
