This is a trail built along a man made canal. It does have natural grasses and a few wildflowers, but it is not swampy. If I had known, I would have chosen a different walking destination, since I was hoping for a more natural, undeveloped...More

The trail was about 1km from the Sheraton Houston Brookhollow where I was staying. Weather was perfect and I got on to the trail. Nice run I had. Had to cross traffic lights at 2 places only in my 20km run.

Not challenging with hills, but a good place to bike or walk. I have only been on the part between the Texas Medical Center and the end of the trail at Bissonnet, and the trail is well maintined up to Gessner.

It is called Braes Bayou. This is an average hike and bike trail along Braes Bayou from U of H to Bissonnet. I think there are better ones, especially along Buffalo Bayou.
