Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

This place clearly oversells tickets and is over capacity. Its a wonder they have not been ticketed for max compaciry and overserving guests. I felt so closterphobic I had to leave. Do not waste yoir time or money, there is no parki g, we were threatened to be towed, thank goodness we left when wr did. There is no drink selection, over crowded, hot and the bathroom was worse than a teuck stop.

I know this place has a ton of history, and it is something every Texas must experience. It is a cool place, and with its history, even cooler. We went for the Joan Jett concert, though, and while Joan Jett and Fea were amazing, we could barely see in the General Admission area. If we had VIP, we would not have been able to see well either, but we could have been seated until the music started and not standing. There are hardly any options to see well, and even if you get a spot like we did, so many people will push up on you behind you almost forcing you out. It is uncomfortable to shift your weight (you got to claim your space and stay there, which sucks for you want to get a drink or use the bathroom so you end up standing for four hours) and there is someone so intimately close to you. They are breathing into the back of your head. I imagine this place is great for line dancing or lesser known acts where people aren't being stupid about pushing up on you to try and see. The merchandise line was super long with only two people. Lots and lots of smokers and vapers, many with weed. I guess it was my fault for trying to take my tween daughter, who loves Joan Jett, and should have expected the smoke, but I am still smelling it for days now it was that strong. I'm not trying to take down a Texas tradition, and this place did look cool for other types of events. But, I wish someone had written something like this so I could make a decision about going or at least lower my expectations (which were already low to begin with thanks to Merriweather Post in Maryland experiences). If you don' t mind not seeing the act and just listening, you can get a beer, sit in the back and be happy unless you shell out for the Patio tables - then and only then will you be able to see, but it will cost you. If Joan comes back, I'll find two other people to go with us so we can buy the patio table (required) and have a better view while seated.

The weather was great and the evening was very nice. We met up with some friends and really enjoyed our time together. Security made us feel safe. The only negative is our fault and please be sure to buy tickets from John T Floore Country Store not a 3rd party. We didn't realize our mistake until too late. Buyer beware and shame on us for the costly expense.

Went to Bob Schneider show. Floore's is now sectioning off the entire front of the stage and selling tables(money grab). Horrible experience. There was no energy the entire show. Everyone at the tables sat down the entire night. The people that care and really wanted to experience the show were kept behind the tables about 50 feet or so from the stage. If you are going to a show inside the bar and they are selling table, save your money. Definitely not worth it. Hopefully Bob comes back after that fiasco.

Saw Randy Rogers band here last night with my husband. I had seen on their website that they have a clear bag policy. Since I couldn’t find my clear handbag I just didn’t bring a purse. I saw lots of women with regular handbags so I guess they don’t enforce the policy. Drinks and food are high but that’s normal for a concert. Good menu was very limited and just ok for the price. Eat before you come is my recommendation. They have port o potties and an inside restroom but the ladies line was very long inside. Overall good experience I would definitely come back but would bring my purse this time.

The music was awesome. we saw the Bellamy Bros. on Saturday night and sat in the ''VP'' area. the beer could have been a lot colder and our waitress was spotty at best. we saw her when we first got there and that was it for the evening. Going potty was an adventure all by itself even though we had our own porta-potties up there. it was so dark you could barely see in there. I felt bad for the ladies. The hand sanitizer was empty , both in the potty and outside at the ''hand sanitizer station.'' I doubt that i'll pay the extra money for VP service again.

Saw Robert Earl Keen last night. Very good seats. They have an indoor stage and outdoor. The event was outdoor and it was cold. Other than that we loved the place and the show. Will come back. If you eat there get the tacos and pass on the chili fries.

When we got into San Antonio we asked about a family friendly have dinner and go line dancing. Hands down, the locals recommended John poore's. from The Nostalgia it comes with a country honky-tonk to the homemade tamales and pleasant crowd, we were not disappointed. An old school country band performed and hey sweetie evening occurred.

A cool little place to listen to music, have a bite to eat, and maybe cut a rug on the cool old dance floor. Good prices, decent eats and they even have a Bike Night during the summer and fall. Worth the visit!

Menu changed with price increases. Seems to be a change in management or at least the pit master. Should've figured that out by noticing the pit change outside. Tried to cancel an order, but whoever was in the back didn't know how to reverse charge a card transaction or was just plain ignorant. Never again. Big Daddy's BBQ down the road will be a go-to next Helotes Market Days. Pic below shows a $13 plate, not worth it. They don't even have the chili on the menu anymore. Great disappointment!!
