This is a beautiful mission style church. Architecturally it's very interesting of all stone. I'm glad I visited.

My youngest daughter is part of a traveling soccer team. Whenever we're in San Antonio for games on Sundays, this is the church we go to. We really enjoy the atmosphere. It's a gorgeous church with an awesome choir, and we feel right at home. I highly recommend it.

OUR LADY OF GUADELUPE ROMAN CATHOLIC CHURCH is one of the most beautiful buildings in Helotes. Situated in the newly renovated area of Old Helotes, it seems like the center of a park. The iconic baptismal font built from stones and having a baptism pool down several steps into the base is worth seeing. The Church has a very full... More

Beautiful church that was respectfully updated and enlarged without destroying the original integrity and character of the structure. You can still see the original sanctuary—a fitting tribute to the decades of worshippers who called this parish home. Beautiful inside and out.

This church was a tiny chapel and then in the 90's or so the larger church was added to the chapel. So original tiny chapel is attached and quaint to visit. There is usually ample parking but most masses are very crowded. There are two lovely stained glass windows and a nice baptismal font in the front and center of... More

We attended this church for a family baptism and were very disappointed that the acoustics were so poor we couldn't understand anything the deacon was saying throughout the Mass. Also, there were 6 baptisms going on simultaneously which was very impersonal. The first was an infant girl who was immersed naked in the cold water. The remaining 5 children were... More

Such a unique and beautiful church. Don't know if they still do it, but they used to have some services outdoors. I"m sure it's 'cos of the beauty of the area.

Located in Helotes, this is my daughter's parish. She was married in this church, it is a bright open airy church and the parishoners are always welcoming.
