We always enjoy visiting Barking Rocks. The wines are very good and the owner is always friendly and helpful. Most recent visit was on the Christmas Way Out Winery Tour. The wines sampled were all good and the food to go with them was perfect. The tasting room is quite interesting and there is a nice outside area when the... More

Nice relaxing setting. Wine is pretty good, nothing spectacular. No true white wines available during our visit.

Rustic winery in the middle of no where. Wines were okay, but service...not so much. Took home 1 bottle (usually buy 2 more more). We were with friends, having a good time. Server/owner acted as if we were bothering them. Dog was cute!

What a great winery. Unfortunately the tasting room is only open on Saturdays, but we were very pleasantly surprised with the quality of the wines. You go to some wineries in small towns and the wines are very sweet and made from things other than grapes. Barking Rocks had great whites and reds. The young lady who helped us with... More

Stopped in on a Sunday and the owner could not have been more gracious. Beautiful piece of land, rustic tasting room, time to talk to wine maker, and the wine was tasty. The roussanne was a standout for me, but enjoyed them all. It is a very easy, short drive from the square, and should not be missed!!

We decided to give this winery a try because they had such great reviews. The issue being, that all the wine we tasted had the same off esters/alcohol. The service was excellent and the ladies behind the counter were very nice, but when someone tells you they had a wine that underwent a second fermentation in the bottle that wasn't... More

Stopped in on a hot day for a tasting - super friendly folks and good wine. I'm not a regular wine drinker and enjoyed the variety of grapes available. Stop in if in the neighborhood!

My wife and I visited Barking Rocks winery, and sampled 5 of their wines. All were very good, and we bought 2 bottles of our favorites. The tasting is in a limestone building, very rustic and cool inside. It had about 6 couples in there when we arrived, and there was plenty of room. The staff brought the wine to... More
