Great, quiet square -- but road construction in Feb/Mar 2017. It get's quiet from the construction after 5:00pm on weekdays. Don't worry. Granbury is trying to make the roads better. The shops are all open. This is a nice square. I am interested in returning to see the playhouse / opera house in action. I'd much rather come to Granbury... More

My wife and I had a few days to look around Granbury and took the opportunity to walk the square. There were several antique shops, gift shops and specialty shops for your pleasure. Every shopkeeper was very friendly and inviting. While I’m not much on shopping, my wife does enjoy looking around so I go where she goes. If you’re... More

The wife and I love to visit Granbury and we realized it had been too long. Lots to do and lots to see if you enjoy live theater, shopping, a nice wine, or just strolling a beautiful Texas square. Take time to visit, relax, and enjoy.

This was my first vacation in decades. Nice square with a variety of shops and restaurants. When I was there it was still decorated for Christmas.

Granbury is a well-preserved historic Texas town with plenty of charm! There are four square blocks of distinct shops and antique stores, restaurants and eateries, and even a local winery to delight the traveler. The beautifully preserved three-story 1890 courthouse in downtown Granbury is worth a tour! Take a moment to step back in time and appreciate this Second-Empire style... More

The Square has so many quaint places to shop and delicious restaurants. The Coffee Grinder is the best place to grab a coffee and a slice of homemade pie. There are always live shows to watch at the theater.
