Nice COE park. We stayed at Cedar Breaks and drove over here to take a look. You can see three COE parks from each place. All across the lake from each other. More water view sites here than Cedar Breaks.

We didn't see a bad site in the park. There were many spots right on the water. Out site was wooded with a lake view. Sites are a good distance apart. The facilities were very clean. The park is very secure with security gates at...More

We traveled with our small dog for a quick weekend getaway in March. It was the start of Spring Break, so arriving early in the morning for an RV spot was moot. Check-in is at 3 pm. The park was busy and crowded with vehicles....More

This is a great corps of engineers park and has some spots with great views of the lake. Fishing dock and also fishing from the bank. Level pads in most spots and picnic tables and fire pit.

We have camped numerous times at different spots. Love the view of the lake and all the wildlife. Some of our favorite spots are 30 and 39, which are doubles, and 42-45.

You get the experience of walking through the cedar breaks and oak thickets of central Texas. I entered the path from Jim Hogg Road; one day I went left and ultimately ended at the dam on DB Wood road, while the next day I went...More

We visited our family members who were camping in their RV for a week. After two cars, it does cost $5 per car. Lots of hiking trails around this beautiful lake. We cooked over a camp fire and had a good time. We will be...More

The sites are very spacious and you won't feel like your neighbors are peeping toms:) There are sites right on the lake but I think you'd have to wade thru some weeds to get to the water's edge. Not sure if that's the case... More
