A very nice campground. Most sites have shade trees... not all. The lake is great. The reason i didn't give it 5 stars is the campground loop is very large, with only one bathroom facility. It can be a very long walk to the bathroom....More

Couldn't find where to review Russel Park so snuck on here. Russell is a very good basic campsite for tent campers. This is not for RV's or trailers. First time here but well worth a return visit. Campsite very clean. NO ants seen anywhere! Easy...More

Nice COE park. We stayed at Cedar Breaks and drove over here to take a look. You can see three COE parks from each place. All across the lake from each other. More water view sites here than Cedar Breaks.

We traveled with our small dog for a quick weekend getaway in March. It was the start of Spring Break, so arriving early in the morning for an RV spot was moot. Check-in is at 3 pm. The park was busy and crowded with vehicles....More

This is a great corps of engineers park and has some spots with great views of the lake. Fishing dock and also fishing from the bank. Level pads in most spots and picnic tables and fire pit.

I'm so sorry just saw this question. I think you can get a site map from the Texas Recreation site. You might also try Texas Corp of Engineer Parks website.

The sites are very spacious and you won't feel like your neighbors are peeping toms:) There are sites right on the lake but I think you'd have to wade thru some weeds to get to the water's edge. Not sure if that's the case... More
