This is an ok place. Mostly for tourists. I took my kids here one Saturday afternoon just to get out of the house. It's a little on the pricey side for what they have to offer. You pay admission, then pay for the rides. I didn't ride anything that day because I don't like carnival rides, only theme park rides.... More

We have gone here several times as a group of families with kids for an afternoon break from the beach. Kids and hubbies got the all day passes and the other moms and I just got these passes for being there but not riding. The pier is fun and lots of places to sit and talk while the kids ride.... Although we thought it a little pricey, we still enjoyed the day with our grandkids at the pier watching them have fun !!

This is a nice little amusement park. It's just the right size to spend a couple hours without being overwhelming for everyone. It wasn't too busy so we didn't have to wait in any lines. The roller coaster was great fun...and the swings 240 ft in the air over the gulf was pretty awesome too. The whole family really enjoyed... More

We had a great time out here! Most attractions are definitely for older kids as height has to be at least 50" to get on all rides, but for sure a "go to" place for adults!

When I was a little girl, this was The Pleasure Pier. It housed an exciting wooden roller coaster and ferris wheel. On Saturdays, Channel 13 broadcasted the Peppermint Lounge from a building on the pier. It was like American Bandstand with dancing teenagers and rock and roll music. In 1961, Hurricane Carla blew it to bits. Around 1965, the Flagship... More

Walked to the front of this place and saw the sign...$9.95 just to enter the gate...WHAT???? Just to walk around the pier!!! No rides included in that price!! To ride 1 ride you have to pay $5 per person. $30 for 2 people to ride one ride. I don't think so. We walked away. Won't go back.

We had a lot of fun on the rides and were able to do quite a bit in the time we were there thanks to the lack of crowd. However, I feel sorry for anyone with more than 4 members in their family. It's very pricey to get in, even if you get a package deal.

I was really looking forward to the ferris wheel! Get there to find out they want $10 each just to walk in. And then $5 for each of us to ride it! No way are we going to pay $30 for 2 people to take a short ride on a ferris wheel even if we can afford it. It's robbery!!'
