I like to stop here to go for walks on the beach in the winter. It has restrooms and is a nice beach just off of the Seawall

The beach is increasing in size [acreding] services at the West end of the beach. Stewart beach is Operated by the City, the beach is public [open to the public, access is the problem. East beach is just that part of Stewart by the Jetty's.

We were super disappointed that Stewart Beach was closed for the season when we got there. We looked on the website and didn't see that it was closed - not sure why this portion of the beach was closed and others were not.

They keep the beach very clean. It’s worth paying a little bit to park. You can usually park pretty close to the water, too.

I love every part off Galveston. A beautiful place to go and mostly it is by the ocean. Walking the beach in the early morning is awesome.

We rented a beach umbrella and a couple of chairs and spent part of the day here. The beach was pretty clean and everyone had a good time. Two beach chairs and an umbrella will set you back $35 regardless of how long you stay....More
