I love every part off Galveston. A beautiful place to go and mostly it is by the ocean. Walking the beach in the early morning is awesome.

Our family decided to take a last minute trip to Galveston. We had none of our beach supplies so we stopped in at the store next to Stewart Beach and stocked up on some gear. We rented a couple of chairs and an umbrella while...More

We spent a couple of hours here while waiting for our hotel room to be ready. We rented an umbrella and two chairs (well worth your money) and just relaxed. While you do have to pay to get in, the beach is clean and family...More

We rented a beach umbrella and a couple of chairs and spent part of the day here. The beach was pretty clean and everyone had a good time. Two beach chairs and an umbrella will set you back $35 regardless of how long you stay....More

Kept clean and easily accessible. Have to pay for parking. But, it was not overcrowded. People were friendly. Kids had a great time in the water. We enjoyed a relaxing time sunbathing.

Great location Get the parking pass if you’re here for more than a couple days. Pricey umbrellas and chair rentals so bring your own. Beaches are in good shape now.

We were in Galveston for a few days and went to this beach two different times. We were able to park in the drive on the sand section since we have a handicapped parking sticker and that was super nice for us. We brought our...More

I would expect a cleaner and quieter beach for $50/day. Each car pays $15 to enter. Two beach chairs and an umbrella will cost you another $35, if you want to stay close to the water. Those chairs and the umbrella will be picked up...More

We went early on a Monday morning. They have a lot of parking available, showers, food, etc. You can also rent a chair and umbrella. We were right at the edge of the beach. Sand was nice and clean.

You can but only an umbrella or a small tent. Can’t bring an easy up. They want you to pay to rent their stuff and so they make it more difficult to discourage people from bringing their own stuff. I recommend a wagon if... More

Yes. The water is colored with Mississippi delta mud but safe to swim in. As with all ponds, rivers, pools and oceans... don’t go in with open sores. Surprisingly to me, the highest bacteria count is right after a big... More
