We had a rainy day in Galveston and decided to go here. We watched one of the 3D shows, it was just ok. We also paid to tour the rainforest. My sons likes seeing the animals so it was good for him, I was more concerned with not getting pooped on by the birds. Definitely a rainy day activity.

We spent the night here pre cruise. From the time we hit the curb until the time we checked out everyone was so friendly, helpful, and polite! It was wonderful after getting up at 2 am and flying from the north. The pool bar staff was very friendly. The food in the restaurant was resort priced fairly and the service... More

This is one of our favorite places so far @ Galveston, full of attractions and nice environment. Perfect place to visit during Spring and Fall holidays.

Moody Gardens has so much potential...Unreached potential. The aquarium is pathetic-always under construction and not a lot to see. The rainforest/butterfly thing is mostly plants and humidity. Again, not a lot to see. The third pyramid is a waste of space. Period. We were season pass holders because it was actually cheaper than buying one time visit tickets, but none... More

The rainforest was awesome and alive with animals and greenery. You are in their environment coming in contact with several different birds and monkeys

We were prepared to add Moody Gardens to our Galveston Island Pass, but learned at the Ashton Visitor Centre, that Tuesdays were Senior Days at Moody Gardens. We did the Rainforest, IMAX White Shark, and Colonel Paddlewheel boat, each for only $5. An incredible savings. If you only do one event, definitely do the Rainforest. It was absolutely incredible. I... More

We visited the Rainforest pyramid this time. The Aquarium is closed for repairs until May. I think the Rainforest was more amazing. We saw turtles, huge fish, parrots, ducks, and an ocelot to name a few.

It was a quiet day at Moody Gardens. We enjoyed the laid back rainforest and the beautiful underwater world of Jacque Cousteau. The 3D movie was fascinating and entertaining !!
