Nice cool morning exploring the farm, then stayed for lunch and dessert at Cafe. Lovely garden attracting butterflies, yard sculptures catching the wind, and a cute little gift shop with a variety of lavender products.

Late afternoon visit, arriving just as the cafe was closing but was able to sneak in a desert. Cafe is a screened in area plus there are tables with umbrellas and standard picnic tables just outside of the screened area. They have several live animals on display for the children. The gift shop was very quaint and as you can... More

We live in Gainesville, but had never visited Lavender Ridge Farms until this year. It is easy to find, just a few miles east of Gainesville on a county road off FM 678. We went this year during their festival. Loads of lavender, a gift shop with lots of lavender products, lavender plants for sale, or you can go into... More

I drove with my Grandmother for a day visit. Naturally it was quite warm soon our arrival. However we sought immediate shade under huge trees right beside the lavender farm. The owners have a whimsical sense of humor and have put a lot of thought into every single detail! The staff was very friendly and helpful. The gift shop could... More

Watched a piece on our local TV station regarding the farm and just had to go! The lavender smell was very noticeable as we exited the car. Nice little cafe in which they infuse lavender in the recipes. Husband loved the broccoli salad. Quaint little gift shop. There was still some lavender that was available to cut. Very bumpy driveway... More

They are a small farm with wonderful people. We usally go during their festivals because they have a lot of fun vendors. They add a little something every year. We have purchased plant, soaps, and food from here. Worth a day trip if you are in the area.

This quaint little out of the way farm is perfect for a ladies lunch day. You can have a nice light lunch, enjoy the smells and uniqueness of this lavendar farm. The small gift shop is a perfect place to pick up small gifts for Christmas or birthdays. An excellent day out of the house.

Passing by and followed signs that made NO mention of very restricted opening times (Fri to Sun). Needless to say, after bumping down dirt track, it was shut. No sign of lavender fields. 4" pots of lavender $4 each - come on are you kidding??!! Either take your signs down Monday through Thursday or amend them.

When I say this place is "off the beaten path", I mean it's a pretty long drive down dirt and rock roads after you turn off the highway in the middle of nowhere. It's worth it, though. Check the website if you need to be there when something bigger is going on, but we enjoy it even when we're the... More

Not a real lavender farm, about 1/4 planted. We won't return. It is a good place to buy a small lavender plant
