Wildseed Farms is located in the beautiful Texas Hill Country, just seven miles east of Fredericksburg, Texas. Come by and see us seven days a week, 9:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Bring the camera and capture the ultimate in wildflower photographs! Spend as much time as you like at the farm's activities. We have 200 acres of wildflowers in various stages of development here on the farm. Springtime visitors will likely see Texas bluebonnets, red corn poppies, phlox, and a gorgeous array of other spring flowers. Summer visitors will enjoy cosmos, sunflowers, zinnias and other warm weather bloomers. In the fall, the fields are planted for the following year's color, but our Nursery is well stocked with a variety of choices for fall planting and colorful pumpkins adorn the grounds around The Shops at Wildseed Farms which are brimming with delightful gifts for home and garden. And don’t forget to browse our incredible selection of wildflower seeds as well as our seven regional mixes for anywhere in the U.S.

If you love flowers and gardens, do not miss this great location. My first visit was at Easter time and the fields of blue bonnets are breathtakingly beautiful. Gardens filled with poppies and local flowers are wonderful. There is lots of walking but great arbors and benches for resting and soaking it all in. The seed store and gift shop... More

We toured the property and sampled some of the different jams and jellies. We thought that the taste that they have on the food was quite good. We enjoyed walking the grounds and browsing through the shops. We were ready to make any purchases on our visit, but will keep this place in mind. We recommend everyone stop upon entering... More

We decided to visit Wildseed Farms based on others reviews but we were very disappointed when we arrived. We arrived an hour and a half before closing time, and for some reason the ladies in the store/gift shop exclaimed coldly when we walked in "we're going to close soon. The remark hardly seemed like a welcome and my husband and... More

My husband and I have been going here for many years. We will drive out just to have a beer on the patio and relax on a Sunday afternoon.

This is really a store for crafts, wildflowers and other garden supplies. The butterflies were beautiful and plentiful. I purchased some wildflowers, salsa and a few garden items. Staff was very friendly and helpful on what to purchase for where I lived.

An interesting stop but was not on our bucket list. Large flower nursery with gift shop and snack bar. We purchased some wild flower seeds that seemed over-priced. I had an Ops's sausage taco from the snack bar, It was tasty but had a small bone in the meat. Fortunately I did not break a tooth. We were there during... More

From the fields of growing / blooming plants, to the gift shop and living plant & flower pot sales areas this place is wonderful - so much to see and enjoy, and that's before you get to their snack bar & wine tasting area. Please allocate plenty of time for exploring this great venue.
