Wildseed Farms is located in the beautiful Texas Hill Country, just seven miles east of Fredericksburg, Texas. Come by and see us seven days a week, 9:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Bring the camera and capture the ultimate in wildflower photographs! Spend as much time as you like at the farm's activities. We have 200 acres of wildflowers in various stages of development here on the farm. Springtime visitors will likely see Texas bluebonnets, red corn poppies, phlox, and a gorgeous array of other spring flowers. Summer visitors will enjoy cosmos, sunflowers, zinnias and other warm weather bloomers. In the fall, the fields are planted for the following year's color, but our Nursery is well stocked with a variety of choices for fall planting and colorful pumpkins adorn the grounds around The Shops at Wildseed Farms which are brimming with delightful gifts for home and garden. And don’t forget to browse our incredible selection of wildflower seeds as well as our seven regional mixes for anywhere in the U.S.

Much more than just wild seeds for sale. It is tourist-y, but offers live plants as well as refreshments (cafe) and much more. If you garden, or are interested in landscaping, this is a must stop. There's more... check their web site.

Even though things are for sale here because it is a nursery, the gardens are a beautiful place just to visit. There is a cafe with wine, also. So you can enjoy a stroll through the gardens and have lunch.

A very interesting place to visit in the Texas Hill country. A wide variety of pots and plants, an interesting butterfly garden, a winery and a shop with local products. Worth visiting.

Even in the dead heat of summer this place was beautiful to see. They had every kind of wild flower seed. The rustic barn feel of the place was charming. I will go back.

That's a little early for flowers. If we've had rain in the winter, you may see a few. The weather should be in the 60's, but you never know in Texas.
