This is an interesting place to visit especially after seeing the World War II Museum. It made this far more interesting.

I'm truly not into history but it was the hubby's birthday and he wanted to visit. I was amazed at the museum. Everything was well done and I actually enjoyed it. Took most of the afternoon but they'll let you leave and come back. We...More

Definitely worth seeing. The information here is a nice prelude that goes nicely with the Pacific War Museum. I would definitely recommend visiting this place first then going onto the other sites.

Enjoyed a look back at Fleet Admiral Chester Nimitz life and career. Includes many family photos and artifacts of his early life, military life and later years.

Check in here first, to buy your Museum pass and learn about Admiral Nimitz's childhood. This site was a hotel in the late 1800-s and early 1900's. Great background on the area and the German settlers of the area.

We spent about an hour in this museum, but could have spent more time, if we had it. So interesting that Admiral Nimitz grandfather owned the building that the museum. Is in.
