Would highly recommend visiting Fredericksburg for even a weekend getaway. Lots to do, plenty of history.

All kinds of stores, restaurants, art galleries and bars to browse through as you walk along main street. Street parking, along main street, is hard to find during peak times plus it is main highway through town with lots of big trucks driving through.

Overpriced wine that they all try to get you to sign up for, over priced tastings of really average wine. It's a nice place to get away and waste some money but that's it.

Good for a day trip, but can get very crowded, expecially the resturaunts. Main street type stores and shops including an Amish shop.
