I've been to this cozy store several times while visiting family in Ft. Worth. They have a huge variety of chiles, probably anything you want. If you need ground ancho, they have it; chipotles, of course!; several smoked chiles; cook books; aprons; and other unsuspecting items like dehydrated soup vegetables in bulk. One thing I buy myself is New Mexican... More

Chilli ingredients and measurements very between brands and cooks alike. If you want the original chilli recipe that was concocted out of necessity on long cattle drives in the late 1800s, Pendery's is the place to get it. I haven't been in a long time because my big bag if chili powder has lasted. It's time to r restock. I... More

It was kinda out of the normal store places. It was in an old house renovated into a shop. They did have lots of spices from many areas of the world. We bought 5 bags of spices for under $20. I'd return if I were in the area again and needed hard to find spices.

Rude employee working their at cash register. Never asked to help or acknowledged our presence or made eye contact. Love the store, not the employee. They have a lot of spices and rubs to choose from.

I am moving to India son and I wanted to get some spices and seasonings that I knew I wouldn't be able to find over there to take with me. The shop is located in a small shop in the hospital district in a cute little house and I really expected when I pened the door to find a charming... More
