Whew! Lots of questions. Not aware of any "camping spots" other than the group shelters. Folks just throw up a tent near the creek which is running nicely. Regarding size, I would guess 30 acres but I may be way off... More
Whew! Lots of questions. Not aware of any "camping spots" other than the group shelters. Folks just throw up a tent near the creek which is running nicely. Regarding size, I would guess 30 acres but I may be way off. Yes, the place is quite busy during spring break. Firewood is not sold on the premises, nor is there a Camp store that I'm aware of although there is a convenience store about five miles away. Fishing is available though it's not known for great fising since the creek tends to dry up in the summer...not totally, but it gets low. I don't think there is 24-hour monitoring, but you can check their website which may help. Good luck.
