A look at some of the equipment used in the past and pictures of various trucks and fires in Denton. This is in a Real fire station so a look at the current trucks is also a possibility if they're not making calls.

Our kids had such a great time and the firefighters were super nice! This was a great way for our young children to learn about the job of a firefighter.

Fantastic little museum and it is FREE! It is small but, the amount of displays makes up for that!! This is a working fire station and I got to meet the K-9 search dog! What a sweetheart he was! Lots to see and worth a return trip! They did it up well!

not much to it overall, however there is some interesting stuff to see. You can be through the entire exhibit in less than an hour. Plan other things to do in Denton if this is your reason for coming.

We were wandering around town square and stumbled upon this little museum. There were some great old fire fighter gear and equipment on display. I even got to try on some old fire fighting gear!

It's very small, but it's free, and there's clean restrooms and water fountains inside. It is located about two blocks east of the downtown square area, so if you are walking around the square and have small children, it's a great place to take them. The museum houses about 100 years' worth of firefighting artifacts, with pictures from all over... More

The museum has a small but very interesting, well-organized, pristine collection of firefighting artifacts! Definitely worth a visit while you're in downtown Denton.

This is just a small little museum, but it is interesting, FREE, and they allowed us to go back and see where the firefighters live and also check out the trucks and emergency vehicles. My kids (6&3) loved it and also got to try on a real uniform. If you have small kids, this place is a very nice stop.
