Nice place to visit for historical reasons. A short film about Eisenhower is shown. A short walk to the house where he was born. You are allowed into house w/ tour guide. Visit took approximately 60-90 mins.

The guide was great! She was so knowledgeable and really enjoyed imparting her knowledge with the group. She did in-depth research on Eisenhower and his family and even visited his presidential library in Abilene, Kansas. There was a small exhibit and movie that gave you...More

After driving 400 miles we checked in to our hotel and snuck away to visit the nearby Eisenhower birthplace in Denison, TX. This is a hidden gem worth the visit. We rolled up to the visitor center just minutes before the final afternoon tour, but...More

There's not a lot to see here but the building itself is original, visiting the grounds is free and the museum office has an interesting display. We decided not to bother with house tour as none of the furnishings are related to the Eisenhower family.

The visitor's center and walking around the grounds and seeing the outside of the house are free. There is a small fee to take a docent-lead tour. I would highly recommend the tour. Our docent was very knowledgeable and enthusiastic. Although President Eisenhower's boyhood home...More

To see the house—is free. If you want a guided tour, small fee. The museum office has a good display of his accomplishments and a short video. Since the Eisenhower’s only rented the house none of the furnishings belonged to the family.

The Eisenhower Birthplace was nice, but Siri/GPS definitely made us work for it! We were first led to a fence where we could see the house, then to an empty field that seemed to be behind it. When we finally found the entrance, it was...More

Although little Dwight David Eisenhower spent only the first 18 months of his life in this house, the adjacent visitors' center covers his career fairly thoroughly. His parents' mean circumstances will be familiar to those of us who grew up hearing stories of the poverty...More

Hello! Guide animals are welcome on the grounds and in buildings. Behaved dogs on leashes are welcome on the grounds as long as the owner cleans-up after them.
